Among our large team of specialists, we have appointed a few as our core team
Margrethe Winther-Nielsen
PhD in Environmental Biotechnology, BSc in Chemical Engineering, Head of Innovation for Health & Safety at DHI. She has worked as a specialist and project manager in the REACH Implementation Projects on Chemical Safety Assessment (RIP 3.2), Downstream Users (RIP 3.5) and Articles (RIP 3.8). She has 13 years of experience from consultancy within hazard and risk assessment, GLP studies and quality insurance.
Jens Tørsløv
PhD in Ecotoxicology, MSc in Biology, Head of Projects at DHI. He was employed 3½ years with the European Commission, European Chemicals Bureau, where he worked with development of REACH guidance and participated in a range of related projects, activities and meetings. He has 15 years of experience from consultancy within environmental risk assessment and chemicals management.
Karl-Heinz Cohr
MSc in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chief
Toxicologist at DHI. He has more than 35 years of experience in
hazard and risk assessment of chemicals including exposure
scenarios. He has large experience in setting up test programmes for
new chemical substances in the EU. He has worked with REACH for the
last four years and is an experienced user of IUCLID 5.
Lise Møller
MSc in Biology. She is a specialist in exposure and risk assessment of chemicals in industrial and consumer products and has been a consultant in implementation of REACH since 2005. Her expertise includes toxicological and ecotoxicological assessments, project management and fundraising.
Helle M. Andersen
MSc in Chemical Engineering. She is a specialist in the Chemicals Legislation in the EU and EFTA member countries. The expertise includes GHS and REACH, classification and labelling of chemical substances and products and preparation of safety data sheets in compliance with national legislation (EU, EFTA, USA).
Peter Kortegaard
MSc in Environmental Engineering. He works with implementation of REACH in a broad range of companies. He is also a specialist in compliance and labelling of chemical products including preparation of safety data sheets in compliance with REACH and national legislation.
